The quality of students’ performance in the Arabic program at Center Sidi Bou Said for Languages is ensured through continual evaluation, organized communication with students’ home institution and a clear assessment framework.

Throughout the course of the program, we will collect and analyze data on student achievement on a regular six-week basis and provide the data to your institution. Our assessments of student performance will be based on the four key communication skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

We are also able to work with your university to evaluate student progress based on common rubrics provided by your Arabic department. Assessment of student performance will also be based on a series of regular testing and results from homework and class work. At the beginning of the program, students will receive a test that will serve as a benchmark to measure their progress throughout the term.
